I joined Change Now CrossFit in early 2021. It didn’t take long to realize that CrossFit would be my new path forward in fitness. It was exciting! I began to learn how to move and use my body in ways I never had before. About a year into my CrossFit journey, I earned my L1 Certificate. Having the opportunity to share my enthusiasm and love for CrossFit to help others in their own journey and accomplish their fitness goals is something I truly enjoy!
I joined my first CrossFit gym in 2019 while living in Des Moines. My wife and I moved to Kansas City and after a while I joined Change Now CrossFit in January ‘21. I was looking to establish a new routine and get back into shape. Found an instant love for CrossFit and the community. I later earned my CF-L1 to find a way to do more with the gym. I look forward to working with current and future members meeting their fitness goals
I joined Change Now CrossFit in 2019. It was my first time doing CrossFit and I immediately loved it. CrossFit presents a new level of fitness I’d never had, where there are always new goals to achieve. A year later, I earned my CF-L1 and became a coach at Change Now. I love to coach and support members of the gym, and hope to give new members the same great experience I had as a beginner.
We know many people are prediabetic or have type II diabetes, or maybe you are on high blood pressure. We have seen CrossFit and improving your nutrition change that. Over time as you become more fit it is possible your doctor will tell you these are no longer needed. If you are ready to live a healthier life our coaches are her to guide you.
CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program that works. On top of CrossFit we also offer our Barbell Strong program that is design to build strength. This is one hour of coach lead strength class. So no matter your strength goals we have you covered with either CrossFit or Barbell Strong or both.
Many of us struggle with losing weight. There are no quick fixes or shortcut. However, we know how to help you achieve your weight goals. Our coaches will help you setup a plan and help you stay accountable to that plan. We are confident if you do CrossFit 5 days a week and follow a mostly whole food diet you will reach your goals.
Fit is somewhat subjective. It is important to discuss your goals with your CNCF coach so we can help you meet your individual goals. We know if you attend 5 CrossFit classes a week and follow a mostly whole food diet you will become fit or fitter than you were before you started. If you think about fitness as a continuum you have sick on one extreme wellness in the middle and fit at the opposite extreme of sick. The fitter you are the longer healthier life you will have.
CrossFit has changed our lives and countless people around the world. It has caused a revolution in how people workout. It is a coach lead class that focuses on whole body workout that includes strength and condition. Our programming is constantly varied to keep your body adapting to change. We are confident that if you follow our nutrition coaching and attend at least 3 CrossFit classes a week with in a few months it will change your life too.
If you are like most people you have tried different fad diet that might work for a short time, but eventually fail. Studies show the average American has tried more than 10 diets to lose weight. Fad diets just don’t work. Our coaches can help you transition your diet to whole foods that are sustainable and healthy.
If you aren’t ready to jump into CrossFit classes or you just want to workout with a personal trainer we have you covered. Our Personal training sessions are one hour long and schedule with one of our coaches that fit your schedule. Please let us know if this is something you are interested in.
Our Oly Club meets two days a week on Thursday and Sunday. This is an Olympic Lifting Coach lead class focused on improving your Olympic lifting technique. So you will work on your Clean, Jerk, and Snatch lifts usually focused on a 6 week lifting program. If you are interested in improving your lifts this is the program for you.

I am your Head Coach and Owner. A little over 3 years ago I took the CrossFit L1 course and started coaching. I discovered I could coach, push, and inspire all types of athletes from fit college students looking to increase work capacity, young parents trying to stay in shape to those struggling with weight and health problems looking for answers. Just this past summer, I completed the CrossFit L2 course and am more focused than ever to ensure every workout fits the athlete’s ability.
I am a Coach and Owner at Change Now CrossFit. I have been doing CrossFit for over 6 years and recently upgraded my CrossFit coaching skill by completing the CrossFit L2 course. In November of 2019 I obtained the USA Weightlifting Level 1 certification to improve my coaching skills on the Olympic lifts. Because Nutrition is the foundation of fitness I wanted to continue my education and completed the Precision Nutrition Level 1 coaches course. With the PN1 certification I feel more confident as a coach to help other on all areas of fitness.
